Ya Gotta Start Somewhere, So ...
SeeSick?
Yeah, that's a "handle" I used to have once upon a time when I traveled a bit and spent a lot of time on the road where I used a CB radio. I had a construction job of sorts and it usually kept me away for a week at a time. The name is just as applicable today as it was then. Some of the things I "see" make me "sick." Back then it was more of a smartass thing, now, if you don't feel the same, you ain't paying attention. We see a country torn apart, being divided to eventually be conquered. Truth and integrity have left the building. No where is this plague more prevalent than here, South of the UP. Once a progressive state that others looked to as a shining example of the American Way, it has become a cesspool of deceit, hate, and corruption. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying things were perfect, but it certainly wasn't the open market that caters to corporations as it does today. What isn't being brazenly and unabashedly given away is being sold for campaign donations. It seems fitting to begin this blog on the same day that the former Governor of Virginia, Bob McDonnell, was sentenced to two years in prison for corruption in office. Two years for 11 felony convictions out of 13, it seems to be a bit little light. But hey, maybe someday soon we will be able to say our Governor is a convicted felon and no longer go by the name of South of the UP.
Just sayin'. Hhrrrcchh ...
